John and Lisa Hines had big plans. Lisa was moving over to the US to live with John as they set up their own restaurant, combining Lisa’s lifelong baking and cake love with John’s classic dishes and meat smokers. Like with many budding businesses, the Covid pandemic changed all that!
Instead, John moved over to the UK, and they set about launching an online business, focused on one of the most unique dishes that they had up their sleeve. A dish that took the traditional method of making sushi, but used an array of tasty chocolates, luscious buttercreams, fruity extracts and indulgent extras, to produce a sushi like no other. A dessert like no other. Yum Yum Sushi Desserts was born.
